First-time speaker for Wound Care Today 2025

We are offering three people who have never spoken at a national wound care event the opportunity to present their work at Wound Care Today 2025. We will support and help the selected speakers through this process, including a one-to-one session with Oliver Medill, one of the UK’s leading presentation experts.

Entry criteria includes:
► Never spoken at a national conference before
► Submissions must be based on work carried out by you within your organisation.

Deadline for submission: Monday 27th January 2025.
Notification if accepted on: Monday 3 February 2025
Submission of e-posters by: Monday 17 February 2025

Categories include:

► Innovations in practice: This category embraces examples of working collaboratively with team members and patients to lead practice development and improve outcomes.
► Quality improvement and service development: This category calls for examples of focused approaches to challenging existing healthcare systems, unwarranted variations in care being addressed, and how patient-centred care has been prioritised.
► Clinical case reports: This category calls for examples of your clinical experience to share with peers how you and your colleagues have overcome clinical challenges through collaboration and patient-centred care.

Abstract review notification: Monday 3rd February 2025
Conference venue: Telford International Centre, Telford
Conference date: 12 – 13 March 2025.

One-to-one session with Oliver Medill, a keynote speaker and author of the book, ‘The Impact Formula’, who will help you to present with impact and manage nerves and confidence issues.

One night’s free accommodation for those invited to be a first-time speaker.
All abstracts will be peer reviewed and you will be notified by Monday 3rd February 2025 if you have been selected to be one of our first-time speakers, who will get one night’s free accommodation.
